Project Brief: Classic Country

We've always found that customers are naturally drawn towards the inviting appeal of a classic county kitchen and have a number of ranges that suitably meet this requirement. In this case, the brief was for a timeless feel that was possible through the natural grain pattern, painted wooden cabinetry offers.

The outcome was a Kitchen that could be enjoyed by all with its welcoming, modern rustic feel. It opened up the opportunity for the homeowner to be creative with accessories and textiles to complete the look. 

When designing a country kitchen, people often opt for white as a focus colour. This can make the room look more spacious, but if you want to add some real style and personality to your kitchen, you can use some brighter colours in moderation. Consider coloured tiles or wallpaper, or even appliances like an AGA Range Cooker or a Smeg 50s Style Fridge Freezer – both of which are known for their colour-led designs.
